Experience
I have 10 years of experience teaching junior high mathematics in a public school setting. I have taught Pre-Algebra, Geometry, Remedial Math, Common Core 8th Grade, Honors Common Core 8th Grade. Before I began teaching full-time, I worked as a tutor for a private tutoring company and also for the University of Utah tutoring lab. I love teaching math - it is what I am best at and one of the things that brings me the most happiness in my life. I believe that all students like math, but some of them just don't know it yet. I love watching a struggling student start to understand the material and start enjoying the work. I also love to find ways to challenge those students to whom math always seems come easily. It is in overcoming the challenge that the true satisfaction of mathematics lies.
